The traction wires, are made of biocompatible and resorbable material. They have resorbable anchoring cones along their course.
The sets of cones are oriented in the opposite direction toward the end of the suture, they are bidirectional.
The immediate effect is a lifting effect by lifting and repositioning the tissues. In a second moment the material that composes the wires and cones, stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen and fibrosis that over time results in increased volumes with reshaping of facial contours.
The cones, with the passage of time are reabsorbed as a result of the inflammatory response from foreign body, around them forms a fibrous capsule that provides an increase in volume and firming of the tissue.
The Wires, being composed of a completely bioresorbable material, will be degraded steadily by the body over a period of 6-8 months. Typically 2 to 10 wires are used per session, depending on the needs of the patient.
The areas most affected are the contour of the face to redefine it, the mandibular area to pull it, the cheeks and cheekbones to lift them.
They are also used for elevation and/or traction of the brow area for treatment of the eye area, nasogenic folds, reduction of the under chin and for rejuvenation and traction of the neck and decollete.
They can also be used for the body, especially inner arms, inner thighs and abdomen.
