Surgeon

Dr Paola Rosalba Russo has worked as a medical surgeon since 1990 at her own Estemed Outpatient Clinic in Modena, a multi-specialist medical centre dedicated to the pursuit of beauty through treatments of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery.

Since 2006 she has been a Lecturer and member of the Scientific Committee of VALET SRL – Via dei Fornaciai 29/b – 40129 Bologna, where she is involved in private training/teaching and teaching activities in all disciplines taught in university, school and extracurricular systems at the level of in-depth updating, dissemination and scientific experimentation for doctors, conference organisation and publishing activities.

She has actively participated in the activities of the scientific committee of SIES – Italian Society of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery.

Since 2010 she has been vice-president of SIES – Italian Society of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery in Florence. She has supervised the activities and teaching programmes presented during the training courses organised in collaboration between Valet and SIES – Italian Society of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery. Speaker at the annual SIES Congress – Italian Society of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery.

Education

Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Modena, in Human Anatomy, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Medical Physics, Histology, Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, General Pathology, Pharmacology, Toxicology.

Guest in the surgeries of foreign colleagues to refine techniques and expand knowledge of Aesthetic Medicine in other countries. Evaluating and comparing different pathologies or patients’ requests in other countries.
